That just about summed up the BMW PGA Championship, with countless players battling for the prestigious victory and Ryder Cup spots alike.

America’s Billy Horschel - unfortunate to miss out on a USA Ryder Cup spot himself - eventually came out on top of a mad Sunday at the always-beautiful Wentworth Club. He wasn’t the only one to play outstanding golf, but he was the only one to avoid peppering in a few grave mistakes. Now, attention turns to the Ryder Cup.
